Above ground pool in Nassau
Do you have to let the town know if you are putting in an above ground pool? I live in Mineola. Will your taxes go up? I'd like to put in a small oval pool in the next few years.

Yes you need a permit. An above-ground pool does not increase your taxes because it is not a permanent structure.
