Accupuncture & Infertility
There was a report on the news about accupuncture prior to IVF making it more successful. Has anyone personally heard of this?

I think this is why I am pregnant now. I went for accupunture when I had hurt my back and it worked wonders on me.
Then redstar reccomended Dr. Wu in NYC and I saw him on the day of transfer and I truly beleive that the accpunture aided in this pregnancy!

Yes, I've read a few articles that said it can increase the success rate from about 25% to 45% for each round.

I had been going for a few months to lower my FSH, and for the IVF treatment. It didn't work for me, but that is more because of my egg quality than anything else. I have friends who got pg through IUI with acupuncture.
I figure it can't hurt and can only help.
I just started yesterday with a new acupuncturist (this will be my third) and I do believe the best I have seen so far. She's in Amityville and Lake Success.

I was one cycle prior to IVF but I do believe that acupuncture had a positive affect on my IUIs

There is a clinic/school in Mineola for accupuncture if anyone doesn't have insurance coverage for it.
I can find out the info on it if you need it. My sister used to go to school there.
