Acid Reflux all of a sudden?
I have been lucky that DS was never a big "spit-upper" but all of a sudden, well 4 days ago, he has spit up once a day but VERY acidy smelling. Btu still eating great, and no extra fussiness. Is it common for babies to start having acid reflux out of nowhere? We have a doctor's appt. tomorrow, just wanted to ask you ladies first.

Re: Acid Reflux all of a sudden?
My dr told me that it is common for babies to start spitting up more when they become more active.

Re: Acid Reflux all of a sudden?
My DS was always a spitter-upper but always happy. It got MUCH worse a few weeks ago - as he approaced 4 mos. So its not the same thing but it did seem to get painful for him all of a sudden and the dr. told me this does happen. Hope this helps
ETA: It also has not effected his eating at all - he is gaining weight perfectly and always wants to eat like clockwork...however, he does appear uncomfortable at times.

Reflux is very bizarre to me. My DS#2 had no reflux all day Thurday and woke up with it on Friday Morning... The most amazing thing to me. My ped was not all amazed at all :)
