acid reflux moms. clear liquid?
ds#2 has acid reflux and spits up his formula quite a bit. He's on 1ml of zantac twice a day.
But lately the past week i've noticed that he's spitting up a clear liquid a lot now too.
I'm guessing this is the acid???
But is this normal? it seems to really bother him and then he can't settle down (fall asleep, etc).
He also is on day 10 of being on nutramigen. He didn't spit up as much on the alimentum.
ETA: he's 5 weeks old

My two boys had it really bad. We went through every formula and medicine. They also threw up more on nutramigen as well so we went back to Alimentum because I found it to work better. As far as meds, Zantac is VERY weight sensitive! If ur dc even gains a pound it's useless. We found Prevacid to work the best. I would ask ur doc about that perhaps. Good luck! Acid reflux was rough! Hope it passes quickly for you!

my twins are on axid and as we get towards their monthly appointment this happens because their weights are higher then their prescription.

we just went to a specialist on thursday and he already upped it for his weight. So i know that's not the problem.
I just think he needs more than the zantac. We tried prevacid and my son had a bad reaction to it (he would scream for hours after having the prevacid).
