Acid reflux question
My DD has been diagnosed with this since 6 weeks and she is now 1 yr. the dr told me to cut her off of zantac cold turkey. However i have noticed these past couple of days that she has been burping up her food. u hear that throw up sound in her throat...Do u think that she is not ready to come off zantac? she didn't do this on the zantac

We tried taking dd off once and had the same problem so we put her back on. I think we took her off for good around 10 months old. I guess it depends on how uncomfortable she is?

Are you going to switch her to milk soon also? I think maybe I would do whatever transitioning you are going to do and then see how she does without the meds

At 12 months and would wake up screaming at night when we tried to wean her. We didn't wean her til 15 months-we always did try to wean her cold turkey only because we couldn't accurately cut the prevacid in half.
