Ack! How much should we put...

in our Flexible Spending Account for next year?!?! We're due in June and I have no idea how much we should go for...and it's due today! This is our first, and we have good healthcare (Empire United Healthcare). If you wouldn't mind, would you share how much you put in to yours or any suggestions for what you think we'll need. We won't need Dependent Care, just for the Health Care.

I woke up at 3:30am and was up for an hour worrying about this! Thanks!!!

We put $400 into it last January. I am due in 2 weeks. We have United and a good plan. But I did have a $150 (per person) lab blood work deductable and my vitamins were $45 a month so we went thru it pretty fast.
I know with us if we dont use it we lose it so we were OK with under estimating on this one.
I would think 400-500 is a good amount.

ETA: My folic acid pills are only $4.00 per month. And DH is a healthy guy that goes for his annual check up and blood work. He takes one prescription for Cholestreol that costs him $15 per month.

We did the max this year..$5000.00.

But we also have IF issues and used all of it toward that, plus we're going to try for another one next year.

I don't think we're the majority, but doing what we did worked for us.
