added f/u question....what do you use when you need 2 baby monitors?

i currently have an angelcare monitor for my DD. we are expecting our second. any way to use the monitor we have with another or do i need to buy some type of monitor that you can monitor kids in 2 different rooms?

for the motorola, with monitors in 2 rooms, what sound do you hear. does the sound go with the video. what happens at night, i thought you coudl shut the video off, does the sound go b/w the two rooms?

i ccan't believe how expesive the motorola monitor is, it seems like BBrUs does not let you use a coupon with it. anyone find it on sale?

I don't know if you can add another sensor to the angelcare monitor, but I have the Summer Infant Baby Touch and you can definitely get another camera and see 2 different camera feeds from the same monitor.

I ought the Motorola one with 2 cameras and thev screen flips back and forth. Havent,used it yet though

I have a Summer multiview monitor that comes with 2 cameras but allows up to 4 cameras for viewing different rooms. You can set it to pan through the rooms every 10 seconds.

with my twins i have one of summer infant ones. it takes up to 4 cameras. you can scan, watch 1 or, watch them all at the same time

I love our Motorola camera. We have three cameras set up with one hand-held monitor. It can take up to 4 cameras. It pans, tilts and zooms. We bought this for use in the basement and for my daughter's bedroom.

We also have a Summer Infant video monitor that pans and tilts also for my son's room, but it's not as nice as the Motorola. It gets the job done, but really love the Motorola one.

Kind of related, we have the Summer Infant monitor from DD and the monitor only works while plugged in, so we were going to get a new one with #2.

My question is, can we use the camera from the monitor we already have with the Summer multiview monitor, is it compatible? It would be great to have an extra camera.

mine has the ability to add on cameras (Lorex). I actually bought a used camera on ebay to add so we can use that when we go somewhere without having to disconnect and reconnect the one in the nursery

what do you use when you need 2 baby monitors?

with the multiple cameras, does the sound go back and forth so that i could be sleeping and know if one or both kids are crying?

I have the Motorola one and have 3 cameras set up on it. You can set it to stay on one room, or it allows you to view each room for about 10 seconds per room. It will rotate through each camera and the sound you hear will be specific to that room.

BRU is the only place that sells the double camera package. I bought the 3rd camera off amazon.

BBB sells the individual camera/monitor, which you can use a BBB coupon on; however, they don't sell the camera that does the pan/tilt/zoom. I love that feature, especially when my 3.5 yo son is playing in the basement.
