Adding rice cereal to formula?

I'm thinking of using Gerber Rice Cereal with DHA.
How did you start with DC? How much did you use? Did you do it with each feeding? Any feedback would be really appreciated!

I think you start out slow... like 1 or 1.5 tsb, and you give it around the 5pm feeding. I didn't put it in the bottle but that is how I started with the spoon.

Doctors recommend not to add it to formula...

that said..99% of the women in my family has done and still do.

I did a couple of times because I was told that it would help him sleep longer...while it did help other children it did not help with Mathias.

I was told to add it to the last bottle - 2 teaspoons to 6 ozs of milk, I bought a nipple that was especially made for thicker fluid.

My cousin added to all of his bottles after 3 months.
