After a full week and a half...
I think it's safe to say that DD is finally, finally STTN!
Now, if she would only sleep past 6am
She has two teeth coming in Did that affect anyone's kids' wake times?

Re: After a full week and a half...
that is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
you know what... loey has 4 teeth on top and has been waking up REALLY early... but he's also sick so IDK exactly what it is.
when he was teething at the worst of it (when we were giving motrin) he'd wake up in the middle of the night too.
he's been waking up at 5:45ish lately which stinkssss

Re: After a full week and a half...
So I still have HOPE that DS will STTN. Last night he was up 1250, 220 and 515 back to sleep until 730 this morning. He STTN for a week and that was it. So your DD is a month older so I have another month to go and hopefully I will be saying this too!

Yeahy!
I hate to say it, but DS was always and is still an early riser. sometimes as early as 5 AM for months at a time. Now at age 4 his normal wake time is somewhere between 630 and 7

Yep, some nights are worse than others. We should own stock in Hylands Teething products.
We never abolished the paci, so that usually would help him go back.
If not, I used a small bottle of water with a very slow nipple, fill with cold or cool water and he'll kind of half suck and chew on it and calm down.
eta: some nights its not terrible, he'll wake up and whine a little but then go back to sleep. So we ignore that and let him do what he needs to.
The teething can definitely wake them up. Its varies on how miserable they will be. I reserve Motrin for the worst of it.
But what was terrible was when he learned to flip himself over and worm crawl to the edge of the crib. He did quietly so we never had a clue, until he started banging his head on the crib rails and screaming. I got padding a few days later, and haven't caught him doing it, but I suspect he wakes up and is all over the crib and then goes back to sleep because he never wakes in the position I put him down in.
