Re: After finding out, 1 week later I am losing the pregnancy
My Dr. recommended a D&C for me, he suggested that would be the best way to have everything over with quickly and be able to start fresh.....I had the D&C but I sometimes wonder if it was the right thing to do.
It has taken me 2& 1/2 months to get AF back. My Dr. told me to wait 3 CYCLES before I even tried again, because of the D&C my uterus would not have anything to "grab onto" so to speak. Well I have had one full period and one slight one, but yes, we tried this month, albeit we missed day 13. The hardest thing for me has been just waiting in limbo....
It is difficult but I tried to comfort myself knowing that I would not be forced to make a difficult decision had there been complications...and that God - or fate - or someone or thing - knows better than I do what is good for me. It just wasn't right for us, or for you. Next time, our bodies will know better how to react and hopefully we will have happy, healthy babies!!

Does anyone know how long this lasts? Or when I can start trying again?
Everyone's experience is different, but usually, the earlier you are in the pregnancy, the shorter the bleeding. I miscarried at exactly 6 weeks, and the bleeding lasted for maybe 3-4 days, I passed a tiny bit of tissue, and then it was gone. You should talk to your Dr. about trying again - each makes his/her own recommendation. My Dr. told me to wait 2-3 months, but by the time he had the opportunity to tell me this, I was pregnant again - I ended up conceiving again about one week after my miscarriage (if you don't plan on getting pregnant again soon, be careful, because studies show you're most fertile right after a miscarriage), and although I've had a few minor complications, here I am at 32 weeks. I was terrified when I had to go back to the Dr.'s office and tell him I was pregnant again when he told me to wait, but he laughed and told me that there's simply no evidence that conceiving again so soon raises your chances of miscarriage, and that Dr.'s usually tell you to wait to ensure that you're emotionally ready. Hope that helps...
That helps alot. I was about 5 weeks, 5 days yesterday when the cramping/bleeding started. I am going tomorrow for another blood test to confirm my low HCG is lower. I am hopeful this bleeding will not last long. The cramps have subsided by 50% since yesterday, and I only bleed when i go to the bathroom, sorry if TMI. Hearing that you bled for 3-4 days gives me hope. I too passed some tissue yesterday, today is mostly blood. I want to correlate the physical pain with it being over, then being able to put this behind me and move on and back to trying. Thank you for sharing your experience, It means alot to me and I appreciate it.
NO problem - I'm more than happy to help - it's the least I can do considering all the ladies on here who helped me when I went through it I agree, going through the bleeding, pain and passing the tissue were horrible, but absolutely necessary to feel closure. Good luck trying again, and if you have any questions, FM me

So sorry for your loss. I know how it feels. As the ladies on here might know I had a D and C in February after the dr. didn't hear a heartbeat on my Transvaginal. We were devastated!!! We were told to wait two months, my periods took several months to re-regulate and now we are trying again! It will happen sooner than you think. Ask your doctor when you should start trying again. Good luck and lots of
