Did the # that you thought you wanted change?

I always wanted 4 but there is NO WAY that I can afford 4. We are definitely thinking 3...but if I have morning sickness again it will end at 2.

We said none, then one, and now I am PG with #2, so yeah I guess so

DH and I always wanted a large family...when we were dating we would always say we wanted 4 or 5 kids. Now, after one...we are thinking 3, no more than that.

We always said we would consider ourselves fortunate if we had one. Now we have one, and I'd love another (I was really the fan of one and done, not DH), but for a variety of reasons, DD will be our only child.

I've always wanted 3. DH and I have agreed on at least 2. A third child is still open for discussion, after we have baby #2.

I think we will stop at 2 however, if we have another girl, DH may be able to try for a boy, we'll see.....

I pretty much stayed the same...Leo had no idea what hit him now that Josh is a toddler, he is more onboard with why people have children.

I can TOTALLY see myself becoming a foster mom one day when my kids are in school.

Hmm, we always said we'd see as we went along, with both of us open to a few children... Now that we have two (and one of each), DH is done and I am still open for more.... I'm slowly adjusting to the fact we're done (and there will be no oops because I have an IUD). There are too many factors involved, so we'll quit while we're ahead!

After my first i said no more never again. Then about 5 years later i decided i wanted another a year and a half later DS was born and i thought i was done until i gave birth and knew i would have a 3rd. Im definitly done after this one doing the essure procedure ASAP.

We said 2, but after having one, I can totally be content with just ds, but not dh. He wants to have a little dd, and as much as I always wanted a dd, it's not what you want, it's what you get. Ds is enough hard work as it is, that if we do decide for #2, it might be in like 2-3 yrs

I wanted 3+ when I was younger.

The cards did not work in my favor neither DH. We did not meet each other until we were "older".

We feel EXTREMELLY lucky to have found each other and have DS. At some point we were both single and were not sure we would have a child.

I would love to have a #2. DH would totally OK with 1 but would love a #2.

We both know we will not have more than 2 unless we have twins.

I think I want to try for #2 but I am trying to come to peace that if it does not happen. So be it!

I've always assumed we'd have 2 kids, DH also. Now that I have DD, I would have 10 kids if it was that easy. We'll likely have 2, b/c of space & $ constraints.

I've always wanted at least 2 but would have 4 in a perfect world, DH is on board with me when it comes to having 4.

I always wanted my kids close in age but since we only have a 2 bedroom it would make things hard if the next was a boy but we'll just have to see.

We alwasy said 2, we have a three bedroom house, and DH always said he would only take care of 4 things and we already had 2 dogs, LOL.

We didn't ever thing we would get a 2 for 1 deal, but we are done!

I went to a psychic this weekend that told me I will be announcing twin boys in 2009...I was like
Honestly, first time around I would have been like Now... I am already used to "one at a time". I think it would knock me off my feet.

I never really thought about it...but after each of them I always said that Im done.

Then the pain of child birth and the reality of sleep deprivation wear off and Im left wanting another one...

I got my tubes tied otherwise Im sure I'd already be over on the preggo board.

Dh and I always wanted 2 babies, we have 2 now. I couldn't see myself with more for way more reasons than financial.

I always wanted two.

Now that I have Jack - I would LOVE another boy so that he could have a brother. But - I also want a little girl. So - in a perfect world I would have two boys and a girl - problem is - I don't think I want to be pregnant two more times.

Hey - maybe next time I'll have twins - a boy and a girl - and I won't have to go for the third pregnancy!

Oh - and another thing - I don't know that I could necessarily handle three kids!

We wanted four. Then I had one - thought that was ok and then was pregnant with #2. After #2 - I want a third. Four is not out of the question but we'll see if we even have three.

So, it has changed. And there are days that I am so happy to have the two wonderful boys that I have. I don't want to mess with the situation so I might be done.
