After you miscarried..

What did your numbers go to in order to get your period again?

When do you ovulate again (before or after you numbers go down to 0)

I am confused as to what miscarriage bleeding is verses an actual menstral cycle and where you ovulate in between all of that.

i went to the ER after it happened and my beta was 3000... but there was still some tissue left and ended up needind a D&C 11 days later

Technically my numbers were under ten about 15 days after I started bleeding, but I didn't pass the sac for another 3 weeks or so.

I got my period basically a month after I miscarried (which is when I passed it, so I still don't know if that was really my period or just leftover from the miscarriage)

I never got my numbers checked after the d&c. I got my period 5 weeks later.

I had a d&c for a missed mc and to my knowledge there was no beta testing. My first period was 37 days after the d&c and I def ovulated about 13 days before that- it was the surest I've ever been of ovulating-had all the symptoms that I read about but never experienced. I

Miscarriage bleeding will probably last a bit longer than your typically period. Mine lasted about 7 days. My numbers went under 5 when I got AF again which was 4 weeks after my MC.

Also, just an FYI - I know everyone is different but I was shocked at how heavy my period was after the miscarriage.

i bled for almost 2 weeks after the d&c and then they checked my hcg at 4 weeks post-op to make sure it came back negative (under 5). it was a 3 which was good, and they told me that my body would recognize i was no longer pregnant and i should get a period within a few weeks. i got it about 11 days later. i *think* you can ovulate prior to getting that first period, but my doctor didn't want me getting pregnant until after i had a period.

I didn't get blood taken in between so I'm not sure what my numbers were from the time I had my D&C until I got my period. For the 1st miscarriage my period came 6 weeks later and we TTC right away. For the 2nd miscarriage my period came 5 weeks later and we also TTC right away. I didn't have bleeding in between so it was very clear that the bleeding I got 5 and 6 weeks later was my period.
