Again... not to scare you but.....
My freind lives in Wantagh and has 2 Jack Russells (apr 20 lbs each) and he let them in the backyard and a hawk ( the size of the dogs ) swooped down and tried to attack them. When my friend came running out of the house, the hawk flew up into a tree and was just watching. So for everyone with small dogs, BE CAREFUL!!!

WHERE? i am in wantagh - near the southern state where those suckers hang out waiting for road kill...

They are east of Wantagh Ave and West of Seamens Neck Rd. Kind of behind Dunkin Donuts.

That's insane!! My blissfully naive dog would probably think the hawk was trying to play with him and would go closer to it.
