Age of DC when first used pillow and blanket
The unexpected temperature got me thinking this morning...I didn't want to get out from under my warm covers...DS was only in his cute little pjs. DS is 13 months...when is okay to introduce a blanket/pillow?

I use a blanket with DS since he was about 8 months. Usually a light one that I just cover his butt. He's 11 months now. He gets up on his own and will pull the blanket off fine
Last night I put a blanket on him. It was so cold.
ETA... no pillow yet. He sleeps on his belly with his butt up or on his side. Usually uses his arm as a pillow.

I'm one of those paranoid mommies... plus my DD is all over her crib at night.
She is 15 months old and I use a sleep sack instead of a blanket.
Definately no pillow for her yet, and I don't intend on introducing one anytime soon.

DS has been sleeping with a pillow & blanket since he was 6 months old..we have no issues

I use a sleep sack b/c DS moves around so much! So no reason for a pillow either. He'd probably just play with it anyway!

DS is almost 23 months
At 13 months....DS was sleeping on his belly a LOT.....and moved a LOT. At 17 months we introdued a pillow....he does great with it.....he was more side sleeping by then.
No blankets here more because DS would kick them off. We use fleece sleep sacks & fleecy jammies for cold weather or AC time. Lighter sleep sacks & lighter jammies when warmer or just a onsie under sleep sack......
BIG sleep sack fan here!!!

Blanket, around 17-18 months. He just started using a pillow last week at 23 months.

DS is 9 months old and had been using a blanket since around 5 months old when we stopped swaddling him. He does fine with it.
We havent introduced a pillow yet and dont plan to anytime soon.

She hasn't had a pillow that long... I think right around her second birthday. She's had a blanket since she grew taller than the sleep sacks allow for... probably around 19-20 months (after the summertime, which was so hot she had no blanket or sleep sack).

My DD has been using a blanket since about 8 months old. she actually balls is up like a pillow sometimes and sleeps on it.

Im a paranoid mommy.... I didnt give DD a blanket til she was like 2.5 and a pillow a little after she turned 3.

We used a sleep sack for DS1 up until he was 1 then we started with a light blanket (it was summer with the AC). I think that by 15 or 18 months he had a pillow.
