All my music got deleted off my computer!! HELP PLEASE!
My itunes and all other files got deleted! 
Anyone know of anyway to rip the songs that I have left on my ipod back onto my computer so I can at least have the music and add different stuff to the ipod?

You can't take music from an iPod and put it onto a computer.
Did your computer crash? What happened?
Did you try restoring your computer? That might be a way you can get back your files.

You should have an itunes account...I think this should have your music backed up to it. Not positive but try signing into your account...if you dont know your info I dont know how you would find it.

My computer crashed, it was restored but all my music files are gone and what's left was corrupt...over 3k songs!
So all i have left is the 900 songs on my nano. If I sync it with my PC...the songs don't stay in itunes.
I do hear there are free software downloads that people know of that will let you rip your music from your ipod to your computer. So my question is does anyone know of these downloads??
Apple's stance on this is sorry...nothing we can do.

I'm really not sure how you were able to do that, from what I understand you can't move files from an iPod to the computer, just files from the computer to the iPod.

do NOT sync your ipod with a clean harddrive - syncing it essentially tells your ipod to take everything from your desktop and transfer it. in your case, its nothing.
There are tons of free applications that will do this. Be wary of what you are installing but I've done it a few times (same situation as you) without getting any malicious attachments. Google for some freeware for this, then do a little research to see if you can find reviews.
If you are on a PC you can set it so you can view "hidden files". All the songs on your ipod will be viewable and able to be copied to your harddrive but its not perfect- Sometimes not all of the tags transfer (i.e. a song may be named A867BC or something) but you can usually fill them in by listening to the song and then editing the title/album etc. I've also done this second method with some success. The pitfalls are it takes FOREVER and you do lose a few things in the transfer.
I'd suggest doing the freeware route and if you cant find something reputable then try the hidden files. Google "view hidden files" or something like that to get the exact directions on how to set this up on your PC.
If you are a Mac user then the freeware is the way to go.

if you have songs on another itunes all you have to do is hook up your ipod to your daughter's computer, say NO to syncing your ipod, then drag them over to your ipod. Not sure if this works if your ipod is already synced to your own desktop or not. You can always burn a cd and transfer them that way too...

 hmmmm see I have ALL my music in my itunes account...granted I dont know if my computer crashed what would happen. I think Im going to back it all up now.
Are they all itunes purchased songs? If so you should be able to open them with your itunes account if you have it set up. I can open my itunes account from anyones computer, i just sign in with my info and all my songs are there...
ETA: Sorry i understand what you were saying now. If you paid for them you should have receipts for the purchases.

I couldn't say how I did it- I was on the phone with customer support for 80 minutes
I lost a few songs- which is annoying since I paid for them - but I ended up with most of them
