I'm going to guess yes. Our computer guy at work has software that he uses to retrieve them.

Yes you will have to use a recovery program. What type of files are they? Word...Text...Pics???

Did you check your Recycle Bin first?

Can pretty much recover anything from any drive, but it's $$$$ (even if the drive was in a fire or flood)
I have some software at work that is very good at undeleting files. I've made quite a few people very happy...
There are some freeware tools that you could try, as well.

I can't vouch for any of these tools, but it's definitely worth a shot. Don't download them to the drive that had the deleted files, otherwise you might wind up writing over the files with these new ones. Put them on a removable drive, USB drive, etc.
