All of a sudden refusing to drink water from the sippy???
What's this all about? Started about 2 weeks ago and the last few days has not had one sip from her usual straw sippy cups. Pushes them away and says nooooooooo! She'll drink from a water bottle that i'm using or a regular cup but even then she hardly gets anything, she just likes biting the cup.
I think I do see the points of molars coming in and she very well could be teething since she only has 7 teeth still at 16 months so maybe the sucking of the straw is uncomfy? She eats fine though.
Should we get some new sippy cups??? Any that are esp good for her age?
We were going to start again trying to give milk in the sippy but I guess now she'll never be off bottles!

If it's been 2 weeks, I'd probably try another sippy just to see. DD is a little younger but we use the Born Free sippy and training cups (they also have a straw one) and the Munchkin straw sippys.

I have several different kinds. Over the last 2 weeks she's been refusing it more and more and the last few days she's refusing it totally. I have no idea why!

I have no advice because DS hasn't transitioned to sippy cups yet. He still gets his milk in a bottle. I've learned he does everything at his own pace.
However, his eye teeth are coming in too, and those suckers are painful. He guzzles water out of his bottle all the time. The sucking might be soothing to him. I doubt you want to go that route though.

DD has never been a good drinker, but lately it's been so bad. I bought her new cups, for older kids....the playtex twist and lock are great. No spilling and the straws are so easy to suck out of! Could be that she is getting frustrated from having to suck so hard!
