All the ladies......female question....
Hi All,
Does anyone get headaches that feel etiher like sinus or migraine type headaches before and the day they get their period ?? I got my period today and yesterday and this morning I have a headache that almost makes me want to run to the ER!!! But I am sure it's just period related - ugh!!!!
Anyone else???

I get migranes during my period. I suffer from atypical migrane which causes brief paralyzes and blindness. So far I can catch the signs before and take excedrin migrane. For severe I take fiocet and I have had to have demoral shots a few times.

Yes, my doctor said it can be caused by the sudden drop in progesterone that happens when your period begins (though I feel it a little before that).

I am not a lady but I can speak for my wife. She has been to a neurologist for headaches. They get really bad but I don't believe they are period related. I would make an appt. Could be something else underlying these.

I get these too- so scarey!!
Luckily I don't get them all too often but they are definitely related to my period- when I am on an irregular period kick- I get them a lot more often!

Mine are most definitely period related. I get them both the day before and the 1st day of my period. It's the only time I take the migraine rescue meds.
Tylenol won't touch the thing.. Ohhhh how I dread when I get pregnant. I'll have to just wait it out-

YEP! Yesterday matter of fact, I woke up w/ the worst headache. I usually do around the time of month.
And whatcha know, there it was. It actually came two days early. I was afraid.....I was ready to take an air test in our room to see if there was some carbon monoxide in the air. It was bad.
But the first 2 mornings of it, I always usually have some sort of headache. Weird??

I always get a headache the day before my period. It's not terrible, just really annoying and sometimes I get nauseous. I usually come home from work on those days and take a nap!

Yes. one time I got such a bad migraine I wanted to die. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER and worse yet, I wasn't at home, we were visiting DH's parents at christmas.

Although i'm pregnant now I used to always get that. Either the day before...of...or after. It was horrible and i'm hoping it doesn't return when AF does.

i used to get really bad headaches right before my period. my GYN said it could be caused from my BCP. i have since stopped the BC and my headaches are much better now. if i get one at all, it's nothing compared to what they used to be.
