ALLERGIES
DOES ANYBODY HAVE A CHILD WHO IS ALLERGIC TO EGGS, WHEAT AND MILK? MY SON THOMAS WAS SEEN BY THE ALLERGIST AND THEY TOOK TEST AND IT SHOWS FOR NOW THAT HE IS POSTIVE. DID YOUR CHILD HAVE THE SAME AND OUT GROW IT BY THE AGE OF ONE..?. HE IS 6 MONTHS NOW. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS ...... THEY WILL RETEST AGAIN IN 6 MONTHS... WE KNEW HE WAS ALLERGIC TO MILK SINCE 3 MONTHS SO WE HAVE HAD HIM ON SPECIAL FORMULA SINCE THEN.. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED...

My good friend is dealing with this right now. His son is 15 months old and it has been a daily struggle. Some kids outgrow the allergies, whie other do not.
Keeping him well hydrated and mousterized will help with the itching. Don't use any fancy creams or anything like that. Good old vaseling is the best way. The dr. told my friend that Crisco was even better then vaseline!

One of my twins is allergic to eggs. I think he maybe starting to grow out of it already at 14 months because I have given him processed food with egg in it and he is not reacting like he used to.
