Allergy Meds...what are you taking??

Allergy Meds...what are you taking??
I was told only Claritin while TTC (took me off my Allegra almost 2 yrs ago) but I am dying here. What have you been allowed to take? Oh, and no Benadryl--makes me loopy!

I had asked the ob about over the counter meds and she said all are fine before conception.

Thanks. I'm going to need something stronger though if this keeps us, plus probably something safe to take while pregnant. My allergies go all year...even winter!

Benedryl really makes u loopy?
I luv it (I take it to sleep). My dr said Benedryl is on the approved medication list for pregos.

Yeah, to sleep is fine but during the day it makes me loopy..trying to stay awake! And taking it at night only covers you 4-6 hours.

I take Claritan D, my PCP said I could take Zyrtec while getting PG. When I was PG w/ DD I used a nasal spray while PG and nursing.
