WWYD? Being sick and taking meds

I didn't get a chance to get any HPTs yesterday so I couldn't test this morning.

Last night my earache was coming back - and this morning I am full on sick as a dog. Still no AF. I want to get a Z-Pac but I don't want to take it for sure until I know I'm out definately.

Would you have the Z-Pac called in so that the second I get AF I can take it - or would you just take tylenol for now.

I feel like I am dying - it is so bad.

I had a double ear infection and strep when I was first pregnant with DS. They first gave me amoxicillin and it didn't work and after that I took a Z-pac. My OB was OK with me taking it.

You can always call and double check with your OB but mine said it was OK. I remember that they gave me the amoxicillin first b/c he felt better with me taking that. WHen that didn't work he gave me the z-pac b/c I had to get rid of the infection.

They usually start you on amoxicillin because it's "safe" if you are PG.

Diana I got a bad UTI which I never get right before my BFP- to play it safe I asked for something that was safe in case I was pregnant - there are things out there you can take while pregnant so why not ask for something like that rather than either stay miserable and sick or take something that could be an issue. A z-pack is just an antibiotic so there is definitely an alternative. I would take the tylenol b.c that is safe and if you think it would make you feel better why not.
