Am I over reacting

Would you find this odd. I went to my OBGYN because I wasn't feeling well. I have been sick since Thur with a sore throat then it turned in to aches and pains and sinus infection. He came to the conclusion that I had a virus. Also my back hurt

Yesterday the nurse asked if I brought a urine sample I told her I wasn't told too. Well she never took one from me.

So now today my back still hurts but just on my right side and on the side of my back. I called the doctor back to see if it is possible it may be a UTI or kidney infection and the girl said let me talk to the nurse. She gets back on and said well the nurse said to just drink lots of fluid and if you don't feel good call tomorrow. I asked her if I can drop off a urine sample today and she said will if you come in tommorrow you can.

DOES THIS SOUND ODD TO ANYONE??? What if I really do have a kidney infection or something shouldn't I be treated. I feel like I am a huge bother to them.

If your having sinus problems a sore throat and aches and pains and u potentially might have a virus, I dont know what that would have to do with your kidneys...
It sounds like a touch of the flue, or like they said, something Viral..
There is not much they can do for that..
If your sore throat doesnt go away you can go on an antibiotic but thats pretty much it I would think..

I would call your regular Dr and make an appointment with them.
