Am I the only one whose kid moved to a big girl bed and.....
NEVER slept again? Peyton was an awesome sleeper. From 10 weeks old she go down awake and sleep from 7:30pm to 7:30-8am, like clockwork. She cllimbed(well, fell out) of her crib at 20 months and we put her into a twin bed. Ever since, she gives a hard time going to bed(can take as long as 2 hours) and is up between 2-5 times a night and up for good between 5:30am-6:30am. It $ucks and I am totally over it! I have done everything and I totally let her CIO hardcore. She even put a hole in her bedroom wall with the door while losing her mind. She is almost 2 1/2 and am at a total loss and I am exhausted. Anyone else? Any advice?
btw: she has a gate on her door and can't get out but wakes up DD#1(9) who has to go to school in the am.

DS finally admitted he was scared of falling out of his new bed, that's why he kept getting up. Once we got him a bed railing, he was much better. (He never got upset about being in there, so we were very confused. He just kept getting up.)
It could be something as simple as that.

She does have a bed rail but she all of sudden is asking for me to leave her light on. Which I do not do, but I will leave the hall light on for her. I got her a bigger nightlight and we did have a few good nights, come to think of it, but the darn thing broke already. DH said it blew a fuse. Maybe I will just get her a new lightlight tomorrow and see how that goes. I just assumed it was a game since we have been fighting this battle for over 9 months and all of a sudden she is complaining about the light.

Do you think she might like a toddler bed better since it's smaller? We started DD out in a toddler bed right after her crib and she loved it and then transitioned her to her big girl bed.

We had a toddler bed for her, but she wanted a big girl bed like her big sister! So I am guessing no, but at this point, obviously I have NO CLUE!
