Am I wrong for feeling this way?
I'll try to keep this short... I go back to work in less than two weeks, and DD is 4 months old. I have been LOVING being home with her, I'm still BFing and I am really sad about going back but I know I have to work (we are buying a house). Family members have been hounding us to "babysit" and make plans during my last weeks home with her, and my feeling is that I'd rather stay home with her and enjoy the time I have. I am starting to feel resentment from certain family members but at the same time, I am so sad about leaving that I don't want to give up MY time with her. Am I wrong?

No, you are not wrong and your family members should at least try to understand...you little one is still very young and you are still very attached...tell your family members to check back in with you when she is about 1year and a half and throwing tantrums - they can babysit then stick to your guns and tell them thanks but no thanks

I feel the same way.... I keep telling everyone that I want her all to myself for the labor day weekend before I go back!

Re: Am I wrong for feeling this way?
On top of all of that I sort of feel annoyed that people are so eager to "babysit" and don't even care one way or another whether they spend any time with DH and I!
