American Horror Story premieres tonight!!
I thought it was very creepy. The mom son combo is going to be interesting. Then at the end they show tht stupid doll commercial for that movie Annabelle. That was the scariest part.

Loved it! I know I'm going to like this season so much more than last. I was very disappointed in Coven, I thought they should have done better with that. This freakshow clown is pretty scary  A+ with that character. Previews for the next episode look pretty good too. I have a feeling this season will be a hit. My DH wants to know why I like watching "this weird shit" lol

American Horror Story premieres tonight!!
I loved it and it kept my attention the whole time, which is hard to do. I didn't want it to end and I would have watched it for hours! Very creepy and that clown is nightmare material. There was so much sex though, I was blushing alittle lol. I can't believe they let that much on regular tv.

Rape is disturbing and uncomfortable to watch. He has to make his show just this. I was wondering what that nurse was doing and I didn't expect that scene coming.
Elsa's accent works. I was afraid Jessica Lange was going to sound the same with her acting. Funny though this character and the one she played in Coven have pretty similar personalities, wanting to be on top and selfish.

Can someone exlpain this to me? Can I come in at Season 4 without having seen 1-3? I feel like this is something I'd love, but I never got into it b/c I just don't have the time to myself to sit and watch/concentrate uninterrupted !!
I DVR'd last night - do I have to take a week off of work and binge watch the first 3 seasons?

Each season is a brand new storyline/plot so you can watch them independant of each other.
They use some of the same actors and actresses, but it's a whole new storyline each season.
You can totally watch this season without watching the others.

No, you don't have to watch the past seasons at all.
If you plan on watching AHS season 2 I would strongly recommend 1 first because there is a connection which is the house and a couple of characters.

Was just reading a review that I agree with and wondering if you guys feel the same.
Basically the article was saying Jessica Lange shouldn't have been again the main character (the boss) in this show. She should have been just part of the freak show with her struggling to succeed and the boss part should have been maybe that guy who played the jazz player in Coven. I see where they were going here. They also said the two characters that's going to make this show worth watching is the clown and the two headed lady which they pulled off very convincingly IMO. I agree.

American Horror Story premieres tonight!!
I started watching last night. The last part I remember is the clown/picnic scene. I fell asleep after that. I wasn't really a fan of the first 10 minutes. I will re-watch tonight and hopefully will like it better.

I understand that, but he needs to come up with a different way to create shock and awe. He's a one trick pony in this regard, and it's becoming redundant.
I think clowns and housewives being banged by a lobster claw hand is shock and awe enough for the first episode LOL

I had to watch with closed captions on because I found Jessica Lange's accent difficult to understand. I also think Kathy Bates' accent is just annoying. I couldn't figure out what it's supposed to be, Irish? The clown was really creepy and that's enough to hold my interest.

I had a premier party and we were discussing Kathy Bates' accent - consensus was Amish. LOL
