Im happy with where the high school Abby and Zippy will be going to is ranked! It is the main reason we chose our house.

I don't get this explanation....
The rankings are based on "how hard school staff work to challenge students with advanced placement college-level courses and tests."
So the list is based on how many AP courses are offered? How many students take the AP exams?
What about how the students do on the exams? How the students do in life after school?
I hate lists like that. I find them to be deceiving.

I agree I went to a very challenging private school that did not offer AP courses at all. Many students were still able to test out of freshman classes when at college though.

this list is determined by taking the number of students taking AP or IB exams divided by the number of students in the school. Almost every student is in the IB program and takes multiple APs and IB exams. I personally dont think taking tons of AP exams equals good school. They don't take into account the scores on those APs

I look at graduation rates, I look at college admissions. I look at SAT scores. I knew the school district we are zoned for was one of the best in the country before the list came out as well as the district I grew up in.
