AMEX GIFT CARDS
Not sure if this post belongs here or not...
My job paid me in AMEX gift card. I wanted to pay down a bill or two, but found out that most online bill payment systems don't accept amex.
can i go to say Kohls and pay some of my bill with it?
I know JCPennys used to allow you to use a gift card to pay your pennys credit card balance.

i would think you could use it at kohls or pennys since it's like a debit card.
you could buy your groceries w/ it.

this is what I would do
use it for gas and stuff I pay cash for- then take the cash for the bills

it was a bonus. their thought was it's "tax free"
so, i am buying gas, and food and paid slomins with it. pretty much gone now.

I was going to say pay your oil bill... or cellphone bill online with it. Then use that money you would have used and get yourself something.
