Wow, I honestly don't even know what to say. I read over your origianl post 3 times trying to comprehend all that you are going through, and how strong you are to share your story with us
I first want to say how sorry I am that you have to go through this- I really really want to send you lots of positive energy and let you know that you will be in my prayers
Secondly I just want to say THANK YOU for being so brave and for sharing your personal story with us, so that we are now also educated on this topic .. information is so vital when it comes to our reproductive health and I truly commend you for educating all of us today
Finally I just want to wish you good luck with your surgery and let you know that I hoping and praying that all goes well for you - you have obviously done your research and are in good hands, so I just wish you lots of luck and a speedy recovery
I hope to see you on these boards again soon and again, my prayers and best wishes are with you!

kathy, thank you so much for asking about me....
it has been a rough week. i am battling with my insurance company because, of course, they have never heard of this....they do not know whether to put it under "infertility" or just a "normal" re visit.
i want them to just put it under a normal visit because my insurance only cover 25,000 for "infertility benefits"....and from what i have been researching, it looks like we can pretty much count on having to do IVF.....
many times, it is not so easy for post-ashermans patients to conceive naturally.
to answer your question, me and dh have been walking around in a bubble since we found out. my mom died when i was 14 so i feel like i was robbed of that family....and now, i feel like i am being robbed of my own family......

I cannot even imagine what you and your DH are feeling - it must be surreal in a way. I can only again offer you lots of prayers and support and wish a successful surgery!
I so hope your dreams of a family are fulfilled once you have healed. You so deserve that!!

i just wanted to bump this and reiterate to everyone that this a rare, rare thing.
the best AS specialist in the country has only done 400 AS surgeries and he has been in practice for 30 years!!!...see what i mean?
please don't panic if you m/c and do not get AF for 6-8 weeks - this is very common.
i did not mean to alarm anyone....baby dust to everyone!!!
p.s. i have surgey with a wonderful AS specialist in LA next friday - i finally got the appointment AND my insurance covers it....hopefully, there's still hope for me....
