Anatomy scan
Internal and external, right? Or is it just external? It's been awhile since my last one and I have mine tomorrow. Thanks

Anatomy scan
A/S is external. The only times I had trans-vag were at 6 weeks (my first), 11 weeks when I had bleeding, and at my 1st growth sono because I had a low-lying placenta and Ds's head was blocking their view. By the 2nd growth sono, the placenta was no longer considered low and his head wasn't blocking it anymore.

Re: Anatomy scan
Mine was both. Not sure if it was because I'm having twins? This is my first pregnancy so I figured that was the norm.

Starting at my 12 week sono for the nuchal fold testing it was all external. No internals either until 30 something weeks.

Re: Anatomy scan
The internal part is to measure your cervix, if indicated.
