in the "general" emails that we receive from participants, i just received this: note: capitalization and punctuation marks will be just like in email.
i sent you a e-mail on sat. closing this it was 591.00 when this was closed. send me the 591.00 and close like you were told [person's name] ty

That's funny. I was thinking about posting this email that I got from a user today, and sent to our group email account. Our generic account is used for pretty much every application we support, so it could pertain to literally hundreds of projects....
Email from user: Please send username.
My thoughts: Uhhh..... sure, at least you narrowed it down to a few hundred possibilities....

Once someone complained of a problem, so I asked for more detail. Something like..
"Does the problem happen when you open the application, or when you close it down?"
Their reply? "Yes".
