McCain is leading in VA also right now...55% to 44%....
Also leading in FL right now 54% to 46%
VA should go to McCain. I would be shocked if it did not. With Norfolk on top of that.
I will be very surprised if NC goes to Obama. A total turn around and that mostly would be because of NYers there.

I agree. When I would walk around with my McCain coffee cup from 7-11, people would come up to me and be like, you are braver than me...I am voting for McCain but I would NEVER tell anyone. ummm ok. I have no shame!!

Every channel is reporting different numbers, some have McCain with 13 elec. votes already, most still have him at 8 - Florida was reported incorrectly, it's actually flipped - I think it's 57% Obama, 46% McCain...

that people didnt want to say who they were voting for because if they say McCain; people assume its a racial thing

That's not really what I was thinking.. my nephew is a supporting Mccain.. but he doesn't admit it in mixed company because most people his age seem to be more liberal in their views. He feels like people think of him as less open minded or think that he's super religious if he admits his vote. I don't think anyone has ever accused him of being racist though.
ETA: I suppose it could happen - but that's just not where my mind was when I posted that.

oh Im not saying that its the ONLY reason why; but it is a factor
I am a minority amongst my friends; most of whom are black and Puerto Rican and we have had SEVERAL discussions about this -
