he is wrong. he should have done something but then every single person they knew, family, friends, doctors, etc should all be in a jail cell too.
IMO he moved her away form her family to the middle of NO WHERE
her family BEG him to bring her back...

Honestly, it seems like bad decisions all around; her husbands, her doctors, his/her family. But the ultimate choice to take the childrens lives were hers. Instead of passing judgement on any one individual, I think we should all feel sad and reflect on those little lives cut short

well for the most part she was insane...
making her a little less responisble than a person of normal functioning who left her alone with his kids

he did bring her back though. eventually. 
with the Haldol:
Dr. Mohammed Saeed, treated her briefly with Haldol but discontinued it, saying that she did not did not seem psychotic. Andrea was released only to return again in May. She was released in 10 days and in her last follow-up visit with Saeed, she was told to think positive thoughts and to see a psychologist.

This is a terrible thing. Sick or not she is a monster. He is defiantely not innocent, but then IMO their is blood on everyone's hands. Her family could have done more, these doctors are a joke.

This is a terrible thing. Sick or not she is a monster. He is defiantely not innocent, but then IMO their is blook on everyone's hands. Her family could have done more, etc
see i think it is sooo terrible what happened but i don't see her as a monster

I agree with you, she is a very sick woman. And as for her ex, he is a definitely partially responsible and I hope that he wakes up and thinks of those poor children every day.

that they blamed the malpractice of that psychiatrist...
so if he can blame the psychiatrist how can he not see his own guilt

Honestly, I think Rusty does not deserve to be in jail. Is she sick...apparently so....but there are so many other things she could of done then to systematically murder her 5 children.
Was he wrong in not helping her in the way she needed and to continue having her have kids...maybe, but i don't think there was any way in his wildest dreams he ever thought she would kill any of her children (much less all of them).
We don't know what the situation was, but she deserves to be put away as she committed the act. And i think he should have more kids again. He had a huge lost in his life and deserves to have kids again. He supported her a lot longer then i would of. He has a right to move on in his life.

i believe the fact that she tried to end her life was a BIG RED FLAG
Plus i believe she did tellhim she had heard voices to hurt the kids

I agree. He did stand by her in the beginning - but I dont think I could have stood by her if I was in his position either. Imagine coming home and finding your spouse had murdered your five little babies. OMG.

She was a sick woman..many people can be blamed for the tragedy..her husband..her doctors..some minister that preached and put cr@p in her head...many people. She was doing fine with the kids..not having any episodes and was back to a normal routine in her life. Her father died and that triggered her psychotic episodes. She was hospitalized and the doctors felt she had overcome everything. So I guess they are to blame?? Or wait...her MIL went to the house every day to help her with the kids..the day she killed them the MIL was not there yet..so is she to blame because she didn't get there early enough?? The husband was working to support them...he arranged for someone to help her..what was he supposed to do?? THEY wanted a large family..not just HIM.
I don't see why it is wrong for him to get remarried and move on with his life and have children. I am sure this man feels guilt beyond belief for leaving his children there..and although he can't go back and change things life does go on. I don't feel he should be in jail one bit..he did not fill the tub and kill those children..she did. I don't blame him one bit for divorcing her...she killed his kids. I could never go on and stay with someone who did that to my kids..not in a million years.
