angelcare movement and sound monitor

i have this and me and DH tested it and it works...but we noticed the alarm goes off on the babies set as well...is there a way so that it only goes off on our handset? we don't want the baby waking up for any false alarms in case it happens often. we don't know if we should expect false alarms often or what.

what did you think of this product? was it worth it? good? a waste?

We used the monitor and loved it.....gave us such comfort. it does give false alarms sometimes and will scare the crap out of u. There is no way to turn off the monitor in the babies room but I will tell u that ds never woke up from it and I think bc we would run like crazy to ds room.
