I had my second FET and it resulted in a BFN. I am at a loss as to why it is not working since I got pregnant with DS on my first IVF. These last 2 batches of embryos were all great quality and everything else looked perfect too. I'm starting to think that maybe the first time around it was my one in a million shot.
I started my next cycle today. Our plan is to thaw the last 4 embryos and let them grow to day 5, since they are not the greatest quality. Depending on what we have at day 5 we will put 2 in and refreeze any left over. I'm hoping that they even make it to day 5. I need some prayers that this works so we don't have to do another fresh cycle.
I was in the same boat, had DS after a successful first fresh IVF and had a ton of embryos frozen. Figured it would only take one FET to get pregnant with #2, but no such luck. It took us 4 FET's (2 were chemicals) to get this sticky girl and I was totally convinced that FET's didn't work before I went into that last cycle. I truly believe it's a matter of finding that "golden embryo" so I think your protocol of thawing and watching will really be helpful. Good luck, can't wait to see another FET BFP soon
