HAs anyone gotten the NYS grant for An FET?

My paperwork says its included in your 1 or 2 Grant options, yet someone, actually 2 people told me recently its not an option, so I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure.

I was told originally that I HAVE to do an FET and use my frozens before doing another stim cycle (before we knew I'd be getting my DH's new insurance)...
They also told me that since an FET was so much less than a stim cycle- that it didn't make sense to use the grant for an FET cycle, and therefore they were making me pay out of pocket.
So I'm not sure the right answer. I would think you could if you were 100% certain that you wouldn't be using it in the future for a stim cycle... unless that was your first time using the grant and you still had one more shot left- but I'm not certain about that.

I probably won't be much help either, but just like MrsMessina said...

I am in the middle of a fresh grant cycle right now. We asked what would happen if it didn't work and they recommended that we do not apply for a grant for a FET because of the low cost ($2,800). They didn't say outright that it was not possible, but they did not recommend it because if we need to apply for the grant for a third cycle after that (fresh) we might not get it.
