Another cancelled cycle...
I started my 2nd cycle after the first one was cancelled last month due to poor response. My 2nd one was cancelled today for the same reason. I am confused and upset and I just don't know what my next step is going to be. My RE suggested to maybe try an IUI but I know the success rates are not great and I have a blocked tube and a balanced translocation on top of turning 42 on January 7th. My last fsh was 7.4. I am beyond stressed right now. I think I will go with his other suggestion which is make an appt, to discuss maybe different protocol or get to the bottom of why this one is not taking. For instance, am I doing the injections wrong? Is my weight a factor since I am overweight and the belly injections are not getting in there? These are all questions I have, (among some other silly and not-so-silly ones!)& that I need to address.

I'm not sure who you are seeing, but I know of other people on here who were switched midcycle to IM because of weight issues. Your FSH doesn't seem to be high enough to cause the lack of response.
I'm so sorry you are dealing with this.

ITA! They switched me mid-cycle to IM for 'better absorbtion'. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this.

I only did the repronex IM The lupron and gonal-f were belly. And man, do I have a belly! Def talk to Brenner about it.

Hang in there. Maybe next cycle you can try a new protocol and do some shots IM. This whole process is full of road blocks.

Thank you all. I am making my appt to see Dr. Brenner again and figure this out. I still say something is not jiving. Will keep you posted.

I'm so sorry.
They switched me to IM injections too. I'm surprised they didn't do that already. That was one of the first changes they made for me.
