OMG!! I am soo glad we use in home child care now. But i would say between pre-school and child care for 2 kids we pay about 10k per year.

We're looking at 22-24K a year for two. Oh, and it's for a 10 month program!
Makes me wonder where my money went before we had kids... because I certainly wasn't saving this kind of money.

Re: another daycare question...$$$
No one seemed to mention that all that you pay for daycare because you ladies work is TAX DEDUCTIBLE so you will get some of that money back. If you are a SAHM and want to send your child to pre school like I did because my son needed some extra help I was told it was not tax deductible.

I don't really think 500.00 from my 12,000.00 is anything to brag about. My daycare provider is in-home so we are not able to claim it on our taxes anyway.
