You know what they say, sue the deepest pocket. Plus I think people just don't like disney. Agreed. In fact, I hate Disney! I hate the corruption and the effect that Disney has on Orlando and the local economy. However, fair is fair and I don't believe they should be getting such a bad wrap about this.

I wish I could turn back time so I would NEVER have gone on that ride. I totally panicked inside of it, but kept it together for the sake of my two nephews who were in it with me.
I have never had claustrophobia in my life, and now, as a result of Mission Space, I have had panic attacks in various places. I can no longer go on elevators unless absolutely necessary, I got very tense at a crowded concert, and I've even panicked in heavy traffic. The worst experience had to be my c-section though--couldn't feel my legs (of course) and freaked the he!! out. Oh wow, I totally sound like a basket case!!
I'm not surprised others have been so affected and I feel terrible for those who have died as well as their families!

It is very sad.
Quite honestly - I hated that ride and was sick for 2 days after I went on it
But when we went on this particular ride, I seriously wasn't sure I was going to make it through it -- I slightly panicked halfway through (not sure if I got claustrophobic or what) and BOTH of us were so ill after getting off, it pretty much ruined the day for us - it threw our equilibrium off and I just couldn't shake the dizziness
And I FIRMLY believe that small children should NOT be allowed on this ride whatsoever! It's just way too intense IMO
ditto for me!

I was TOTALLY sick from it too! Maybe they should consider pulling the ride out at this point. Also, in regard to the 4 yr old not going on the ride, I think its also disneys responsibility that he should never have been on that ride at 4. The parents are definitely at fault but so is disney.
why?
why is it disneys fault? Bc they are allowing 4 yr olds get onto rides that grown adults are clearly saying they are getting sick on. They hire young kids to put people on rides. In fact last yr we went to disney with my handicapped sister in which they started the ride while she was transporting from a wheelchair to a seat. We all got severely hurt. When you put people on rides you have to ensure their safety or you have to close shop.
What they did to you and your sis was negligence on the part of the ride operator, but it doesn't mean that ride or any other isn't safe.
For example, so many rides say not to ride if you have back and enck problems. if I followed it, I wouldn;t go on any rides, but I've tired all the rides and I go on the ones I can handle, but if a ride does hurt my neck, I can't blame disney, I'm an adult and I can read the signs. The woman had a heart condition and she was also an adult. The 4 year old had parents. it's unfortunate that they didn't know about his heart condition, but it's not disney's fault.

Re: Another Death in Disney...
it has been confirmed that the ride was not to blame. The person had a heart thing and high blood pressure that they never took care of.

I've been on that ride and HATED it. I was sick all day after getting off it and I couldnt shake the dizziness or the fact that I kept walking into things. I was so off. I cringe at the thought of anyone on that ride. I will stay as far away from that ride as possible.
