Another Dog Story
So Friday night hubby and I are walking Otis in the neighborhood and we see one the neighbors that live down the road on the corner and she stops us and ask if we know anyone missing this dog which she had in her car we look and say no. I told her I would walk around alittle bit more to see if I see anyone not this about 7ish. we get home from the walk and Dh and I are like lets just drive around and see if we see anyone I just don't feel right and I know this dog just got out cause it was so sweet and had a collar but no tag
So we jump in the car and drive around we don't see anyone so on our way back I tell DH just take the back road home and sure enough we see a lady in her car yelling for the dog!!! AWESOME we get excitied she is crying we tell her we know were your dog is follow us!! We are so happy all the way to that neighbors house who we don't know but have seen them around. I go up to the door and tell her I found the owners!!
She goes OH I LET THE DOG GO!!!!!!
I'm like WHAT When How Long Ago!! So ****** I turn around and I see it cross North Country Road which is a pretty busy road! With that I yell to Dh and the lady and she gets over there in time and get her dog!! I couldn't believe this Piece of crap just let the dog go!! What is wrong with people!! Thank god it was a happy ending!!

Omg!! 
Glad it was a happy ending but geesh, she could've taken the dog to a shelter or something, not just let it go!!!

It is abandonment and against the law to release an animal to the street and that pertains to individuals who have found a dog. Animal control or PD must be contacted or animal taken by finder to local shelter. It is also against the law not to stop if you have struck an animal with a vehicle.

Seriously, that is messed up. I know where NCR is and if you're talking about the same area as the other story, that is a VERY busy section of the road.
What is wrong with people????

I know I was thinking the samething!! Not only that she have a yard that is fenced!! Put the dog there!! What an idiot!! So now when I see her I'm not saying two words to her!! She has a dog of her own!! What if it was her dog and that happened!! Anyway just had to let you ladies know!!
