Another dumb question re: birthday parties

Okay this may be a dumb question but if I have nothing in my backyard to hang a pinata from, is there something that they sell that you can set up and hang it from?

Did that make any sense?Chat Icon Chat Icon

my family always just tied it to a broom stick and held it up in the air.

I held DD's, lol, but it was the kind that you pull the strings, not the kind you hit... thank goodness!

Re: Another dumb question re: birthday parties

We had DS's 1st birthday party in my parents backyard. They live next door to us. Anyways my dad has these poles set up in the backyard where he grows his grape vines. Anyways we used one of those poles to hang the pinata on but the string broke (cuz the pinata was a little too heavy...LOL) Anyways Anna's BIL ended up holding the pinata. Poor guy came close to getting hit with the stick so many times...Chat Icon But he was such a good sport about it. He's really good with kids. This year DH will end up holding it if the string breaks...Chat Icon Chat Icon
