Another Dutch Wonderland vs. Hershey Park question

Here's our situation. DS, DH, and I are deciding between DW and Hershey this summer. DS is 6. We've been to both places, but so long ago I don't remember much. There are discounts for both, and it's huge for Hershey, so we'd only end up spending about $10 more a ticket if we went there. So money isn't really a consideration.

I am pregnant, so can't partake in most rides. DS does not like roller coasters, or anything too scary - he didn't even like the mine train at Disney. DH loves thrill rides, but says he's okay with DW. He wants to make sure DS has a good time. Should we stick with DW, or can everyone still have a good time at Hershey? Thanks!

I would do Dutch. Hershey is a lot of walking, and a killer while pregnant I'm sure. Dutch is more compact, and you can do other things in the area. I love Hershey also, but it's really big, and if your child won't do the "bigger" rides, I think DW is just fine.

My boys were bored at Dutch -
it's basically the equivalent of like, Adventureland on 110 ..........It's cute, but it's not worth driving 4 hours and making a vacation out of IMO
I'd do Hershey

I definitely prefer Hershey to Dutch Wonderland. Besides the park there's the Hershey museum, chocolate world and hershey gardens.

I took my boys to Dutch Wonderland last year when they were 2 and 4 and they hated it. Too small, too crowded. I will not go back.

Agreed. My kids are 5 and 2 and we are doing Hershey this summer cause I think Dutch will not entertain my 5 yr old for too long. Hershey has rides for all ages as well as the chocolate factory, zoo, and Hershey gardens.

Dutch would be boring for a 6yo IMO. We have done both and do Hershey often. My 6.5 yo would be bored at DW for more than a few hrs at this point.
