Another DWI spinoff: How often do you drink

No judgment on how much is too much or too little, I am just curious what the average is.

I go out maybe 4 times a year or so and drink a few

otherwise, on the weekends, I may have a beer or 2 a few times a month

I chose a few times a month. Now that summer is here it may be once or twice a week some weeks. But the rest of the year it's not that much.

Hrm.. Well its July and I know we had an 'office party' in May. Other than that, I can't think of any time I've drank since.

Usually I dont drink because I dont drink beer so I'm not spending the cash that I can use on my kiddo!

But if someone else is buying I'll have one. Since I dont hang out much anymore (since the kiddo) that rarely happens so I guess a handful of times a year I have a drink of some type.

It totally varies for me. I'm a social drinker. I could go to 2 events on a weekend and have 3-4 drinks at each, or I could not drink for 2+ weeks at at time. At home, I have a glass of wine on my own or with DH maybe once every couple of weeks, or a hard lemonade or cider if the mood strikes me. If you average it all out over a month, maybe 2 drinks per week?

Ever since I got pregnant with DS back in 2007, I could probably count on one hand how often I drink. Between being pregnant with him, BFing, getting pregnant with DD, BFing... I either couldn't or didn't have the desire to drink. I was never really a big drinker before that, but all these events really made me want to drink even less.

Now that I officially stopped BFing, I will say an occasional good cold beer on a hot summer day has been nice!

My DH pretty much has a glass of wine every night.

It varies.

Some weeks I drink four nights of the week (week nights just an after work glass of wine, weekends a lot more).

Some weeks I don't drink at all.

for me it can be every day to nothing for weeks (varies) also if i am on diet affects how much or often i drink.

dh is daily or he will have a few days off here and there.

I have 1-2 glasses of wine or a beer/hard lemonade about 2xs a week.

Depends on the week! Some weeks I have a glass of wine every night with dinner. Other weeks, it's less. Then of course there are the girl's night outs, and birthday party winery tours but those are rare!

I have a drink maybe twice a month, we really don't keep it in the house. I just bought a case of beer this weekend, and it hasn't been opened yet.

I have a glass of wine with dinner a few times a week. And i'll have a cocktail on the weekends.

Often.

I have a glass of wine after work with supper - maybe 3-4 times a week lately.

I drink 2-3 glasses of wine or other cocktail on weekends when I am entertaining or at a party - which is just about every weekend in the summer. BUT I only drink if Rob is NOT drinking - so it's really like 2x a month in the summer.

2 to 4 nights a week depending on the week

we do live in Port Jeff and mainly walk to the bars

i'd say on average 4-5 days out of the week

i usually have a glass or two of wine with dinner, most weeknights but not all the time.
Friday and Sat nights usually involve some sort of event where i'll have some drinks, which can range from a few to a lot
Sunday, my day of rest so no drinks unless i'm going to some event

god, i sound awful looking at it but i swear its ok!

at weddings or when I am out, but it's one drink which takes me a whole hour to drink!

It varies.

Sometimes during the week I will have wine with DH or the girls. Other times I won't have any drinks during the week.

We almost always have a party or go out to dinner or to a friends house/have friends over on the weekends..so usually I have a drink(s) on weekends.
