another ear piercing question
So we are going tonight to get her ears pierced. For the BTDT mommies, was it hard to hold you dc's head steady while they pierced the ears?
I am so nervous about doing this.....

It was a little tough but DD is the biggest wiggle worm.
DH held her on his lap and then placed his chin on the top of her head to keep it in place for the few seconds. They pierced both ears at one time.

the place I called (claire's) said they will not pierce them both at the same time, not sure why

Re: another ear piercing question
We did it at piercing pacoda and they did one ear at a time and I couldn't hold her (I'm a big baby myself) so my friend did while I got her a bottle ready and showed her gloworm. It was very fast I must say and she got over it a few minutes later. I cried with her

Re: another ear piercing question
We went when Kaitee was a few days shy of 2 months old. I had DH hold her because I was afriad I wouldn't hold her tight enough and I would mess it up.

Re: another ear piercing question
Another thing that I thought was wierd was the lady said they do not use screw backs....should I be worried about her being able to get the earrings off and swallowing them?

Re: another ear piercing question
The girl who pierced her ears just told me to hold her head while she did it so she wouldn't pull away, it really wasn't bad at all, just a few seconds!!
