another halloween question
Why is Halloween an excuse for girls/women to dress in slutty outfits? I can't find ANY costumes that don't have boobage or so short or fishnet stockings, etc. Or sexy cat/bunny/mouse, etc. Discuss.

i wonder this myself.
everything is SUPER short, and i have a big booty, so eveything looks shorter on me as it is.
last year i got an alice in wonderland costume that was short, but i wore thick white sweater tights under with white shorts OVER that.
i plan on wearing leggings or shorts under my costume this year if its to short.
THIS YEAR in particular the cotumes come in two varieties: slutty and MEGA slutty.
who needs a two piece costume like this?
i dont remember Cinderella looking like this

I have to admit, my friends and I totally used to use it as an excuse to wear sexy cosumes when we were in college. We were hooters girls one year... it was really fun.
This year i'm going to be a doctor... nice comfy scrubs.

And not only that, but sexy=shows a lot of skin. Hello, it's cold out. These are the people who will all be suffering from colds the entire month of November, um no I DON'T feel bad for you dumb@ss.

I read an article on jezebel.com that talked about this - but highlighted more on the fact that even the young girls outfits are slutty.... parents can't find non-slutty halloween costumes for girls.

I usually opt for comfort. One year I was a little girl, but wore these super comfy teddy bear flannel PJ's. And just put my hair in pigtails and had a pacifier and teddy bear.
I wanted to be an old lady (in a housecoat) last year, but DH said it reminded him too much of his grandma. lol
