another milk allergy post...sorry!

I accidentally gave my 9 1/2 month old son Earth Best babyfood that had milk in it (PSA--The wholesome breakfast contain milk and soy) on Weds. Today he has had explosive diarrhea (a sign in the beginning that he had the allergy)

Do you think this means that he still has the allergy?

I would say yes! DD always got a bad rash on her vagina and diarrhea when she ate something with milk in it. Depending on how much milk was in it would determine the severity of the reaction.

thanks, I guess I will call the dr and go from there..even though I feel bad, because I wasn't supposed to try until he was 11 monthsChat Icon

It doesn't seem to be a severe reaction so I wouldn't worry too much. I used to give my DD milk challenges, but generally in the peds waiting room.

She'll be okChat Icon

My DD didn't grow out of it until 2.
