Anyone who runs! I need help! About an hour after my 3.1 mile run outside yesterday the back of my calf started to hurt...almost like a charlie horse but constant. Today it is worse....it is mostly fine if I am sitting but walking or standing hurts a lot and going down anything (stairs, a slope) KILLS it! I have no idea what I did and I have my first race Saturday! PLEASE give me hope!!! Could it just be a pulled muscle or not stretching properly? Something that will ease with a couple days' rest?

It is about midway up my calf only in the back. It is slightly tender to touch and really tenses up when I am walking down stairs or walk too long of a distance. Ugh. I am so so so upset! Please help!
