Another question - Birth Cert/Passports
I need to get a passport, we leave in 6 weeks. Just realized my Birth Certificate is missing so I need to get a new one. Is is quicker to go right to the town or to order online?
I need be, what is the quickest one can possibly get a passport, depending on how long this birth cert thing takes?

Re: Another question - Birth Cert/Passports
I just looked into this:
ROUTINE SERVICE
As of ( Tuesday February 12, 2013 ), we are processing routine applications in approximately 4-6 weeks from the time of application.
EXPEDITED SERVICE
As of ( Tuesday February 12, 2013 ), we are processing requests for expedited service in about 2-3 weeks door-to-door, when overnight delivery is requested and paid for both ways (to and from the passport agency). travel.gov
I ordered replacement birth certificates from Town of Islip, I did it online and I got them in about 2 weeks.

Another question - Birth Cert/Passports
I couldn't find my birth certificate when I needed to get a passport so I just went to the Town of Islip and they gave it to me right there.
