Another question about masters plus

I have a masters but no job and I am considering getting the gifted and talented extension. Would these 12 credits count toward my masters plus? Do you need to wait until you get the job to accumulate these credits (it would be from Hofstra). Thanks

it depends on the district... if they're on a budget they may start you at Masters, or some might start you at Masters +10. Some districts do differntials in groups of 10 credits, others by 20, others by 30.

my district does Masters, Masters +10, then Masters +30, then Masters +40 then Masters =60.

i would say go for it anyway... they may credit you. plus, it gives you an additional certification which makes you more marketable.

The 12 credits could count to your above your masters credits but not all school districts will accept them. I think it is better to wait until after you have a job to take additional credits because they don't have to accept the graduate credits you have taken.
