Another question about undershirts
I had asked last week about side snap shirts for newborns with the cord still attached. My sister got me a few t-shirts but one package of them aren't the side-snap ones, they are just slip-on t-shirts.
My question is, are these very hard to get on the baby w/o the snaps? Am I better off returning them?
TIA

Re: Another question about undershirts
IMO the side snaps are easier than over the head t shirts only because some babies dont like things going over their heads and of course being a new mom I have to "learn" how to handle the baby. It just seemed alittle easier to me to have the side snaps at first, then i will move on to the onsies once the belly button falls off and I am more of a "pro" at motherhood.

Re: Another question about undershirts
I used both.... The hosital gave a few that snapped on the side. If Dh was changing him, he never wanted to pass anything over DS's head so he used the side snap. I actually preferred the onsies bc they don't ride up their backs.
Use both and see what works for you.

Re: Another question about undershirts
I liked the side snaps better then the overthe head shirts cuz I was afraid of putting things over marissa's head when she was first born without the head control I thought I might hurt her.

Re: Another question about undershirts
i would keep them. anthony was alergic to the snaps and that was all that i bought. he would get a red mark on his belly and chest from the medal. i had to run out and get the ones with no snaps. they arent hard to put on at all. you will be a pro in no time. even if you just have one pack of no snaps.
