Question about onesies and undershirts
I know the little one will spend most of her time in stretchies and pj's with onesies underneath, so I need some.
Should I get long or short sleeve? She will be here in the beginning of December, so mostly I am asking for the 0-3 size for the winter.

Re: Question about onesies and undershirts
depends on the temp of your house, but if you are putting it under pj's. I;d say short sleeve, if not go with long sleeves.

Re: Question about onesies and undershirts
I agree with above-Jenna was born in September and was a few months old in the winter and I used short sleeve onesies under feety pj's, I used long sleeve onesies under those blanker sleepers though.

Re: Question about onesies and undershirts
I bought like 6 long sleeved and rarely used them last winter when my baby was born - it seemed too warm.
I say short sleeves.

Nope. I hate onesies. PITA for changing diapers and such. I personally love side snap tees and little cotton pants. That's what my little one sleeps in most of the time. When she was first born we used short sleeve but now I bought some long sleeved ones as well.

Marissa was also born in September and I did the same thing and if I went out with her I put long sleeve under her clothes

Re: Question about onesies and undershirts
I am doing that when we go out though...short sleeved onesies under long sleeved shirts. I don't like the fact of just wearing a long sleeved shirt and when I pick him up, his whole back is exposed to the cold. I also put on long sleeved white onesies and then I put short sleeved shirts over that.

When it gets colder Jeremy will have onesies under his sleepers but until then I think he is plenty warm in the fleece w/o one

Re: Question about onesies and undershirts
I can't stand onesies... Alex HATES when I try to put something over her head! I use only side snap long sleeve t-shirts, and I put them on under every outfit. VERY helpful in the beginning because Gerber's makes a long sleeve t-shirt that covers the hands so your little one won't scratch him/herself in the face all the time!

I felt like an idiot reading this post cause I never thought to put a onsie under her PJs. In fact I wasn't even putting them under her outfits when she was wearing pants and a shirt until my aunt reprimanded me. I didn't know

Re: Question about onesies and undershirts
I only used the long sleeves in the beginning for a few weeks and that was May. I've been using short sleeve onesies ever since except the summer.
Now that Aidan is 17 months I thought I would be done with the onesies but since it got colder I am using them again. Under everything including fleece.

You are not really supposed to put them under Pajamas they are not" flame retardant(sp). They are not regualted to be worn as sleepware...I saw it on a package on onesies that said not sutable for sleeping
I never put them under her pajamas.. I used them under her clothes if she was not wearing a bodysuit shirt.. too much clothes for her to be wearing....

Re: Question about onesies and undershirts
He always wears a short sleeved onsie (sleeveless if he's wearing fleece) under his PJ's. He doesn't like to be covered.
I did buy some long sleeved onsies from Old Navy..... I put them under his clothes now when we go out and he wears them around the house sometimes. I live in Chicago and it gets pretty nippy here.
